Shopping locally

Glendale shop and Post Office. Offering many of the necessities for weekly grocery shopping, without having to break your holiday or step out of the glen! You will be surprised what they have in stock. As a Post Office you can also get cash here when the shop is open.

Also in Dunvegan you can find The Fruit and Nut Place. It's a bit of a run-down looking shed opposite the Misty Isle Hotel. Inside is a selection of fruit and veg, much of it local, together with some unusual wholefoods, spices and preserves. Often you can get some really excellent stuff here, well worth a visit, and there's a well stocked village shop opposite.
